This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs how we, SAFETY ECOSYSTEM LTD. (“Relyon”, “we”, “our” or “us”) use, collect and store Personal Information that we collect or receive from or about you, the user of the App (“you“ or “User”), or your emergency contact (“Emergency Contact“), or in other use-cases as detailed below, such as in the following cases:

  1. When our Customers sign you up for an account and when you sign into our mobile software application (“App”);
  2. When you send us Personal Information of your Emergency Contact;
  3. When you use a service available on the App, including location-based services (“Services“);
  4. When you contact us;
  5. When you use and/or purchase additional and separate services from our service providers, available through the App;
  6. When we use the Personal Information of our customers or potential customers.
  7. When you make use of, or interact with, our website (“Website”)

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, so you can fully understand our practices in relation to Personal Information. “Personal Information” means any information that can be used, alone or together with other information, to uniquely identify any living human being and any information deemed as Personally Identifiable Information by privacy laws. “Important note: Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit in any way your statutory rights, including your rights to a remedy or other means of enforcement.

This Privacy Policy can be updated from time to time and, therefore, we ask you to check back periodically for the latest version of this Privacy Policy.  If we implement material changes in the way we use your information, in a manner that is different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you by posting a notice on our App, Website, or by other means and take any additional steps as required by applicable law.

When our Customers sign you up for an account in the Customer’s dashboard (information received from our customers) 
Please note, the App is currently only accessible to you if one of Relyon’s customers (each a “Customer”) has signed you into our App.

When you are appointed as an Emergency Contact

  • When a User intends to appoint you as an Emergency Contact, we will send you an SMS to confirm you consent to being an Emergency Contact of the User. You can stop being an Emergency Contact of a User by sending an SMS back and requesting to be removed as an Emergency Contact
  • If you do not consent or answer the SMS in 2 hours, you will not be appointed as an Emergency Contact, and we will delete your Personal Information.

When You use the Services available on the App

  • Geo-location available on Your mobile device.
  • 3-month backup of recordings of videocalls and calls with the call centers (as requested/instructed by the Customer)
  • Access to your microphone through your phone
  • Your activation and deactivation of the App, and your actions in the App
  • Information automatically collected: Cookies; analytic tools; tracking technologies

  • (The geo-location tracking can be turned on or off, and is sampled only once the User triggers the App’s assistance function, and shared only with User’s selected Emergency Contact and call center. User geolocation information is not stored on our database.)

Finally, please note that when you sign up the App for an account by using a unique code provided to you by a Customer of Relyon, such Customer may directly collect the following information: your name, age, gender, specific location and details of an emergency event reported by you through the App, which will be used by Customer in accordance with Customer’s privacy policy.

In addition, some of the abovementioned Personal Information will be used for detecting, taking steps to prevent, and prosecution of fraud or other illegal activity, to identify and repair errors, to conduct audits, and for security purposes. Personal Information may also be collected, stored, used, shared or transferred to comply with applicable laws, with investigations performed by the relevant authorities, law enforcement purposes, and/or to exercise or defend legal claims. In certain cases, we may or will anonymize or de-identify your Personal Information and further use it for internal and external purposes, including, without limitation, to improve the App and the services therein and for research purposes and to train our models.

The lawful bases we rely on for processing Personal Information are (if and when applicable):

  • The data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her Personal Information;
  • Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract; 
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject; and/or
  • Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interest.

2. HOW WE PROTECT AND RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • Security. We have implemented and maintain reasonable technical, organizational and security measures designed to protect your information. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that the information will not be compromised as a result of unauthorized penetration to our servers. As the security of information depends in part on the security of the computer, device or network you use to communicate with us and the security you use to protect your user IDs and passwords, please make sure to take appropriate measures to protect this information.
  • Retention of your Personal Information. Your information will be stored until we proactively delete your Personal Information, or you send a valid deletion request. Please note that in some circumstances we may store your information for longer periods of time, for example (i) where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements or in accordance with orders or requests of courts, authorities, law enforcement, police and similar institutions or (ii) for us to have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or challenges, and/or (iii) if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation relating to your information or dealings or the information is necessary to preserve evidence.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • We may share your Personal Information with our affiliated companies and/or other third parties such as our customers and your Emergency Contacts.
  • We may use third party service providers to process your Personal Information for the purposes outlined above, including, without limitation:
    • With monitoring centers, call centers, and patrol service providers, to the extent that you choose to receive their services through the App;
    • With cloud service providers for hosting and storing purposes;
    • With CRM providers, to be able to contact our customers and prospects;
    • With recording services, to be able to facilitate the services and for our own purposes as described herein; and
    • With analytic companies, in order to help us understand and analyze information we collect in accordance with this policy.
  • To the extent necessary, with regulators, courts, banks or competent authorities, to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules (including, without limitation, federal, state or local laws), and requests of law enforcement, regulatory and other governmental agencies or if required to do so by court order, as well as for internal compliance procedures and to protect the safety, security, and integrity of Relyon, our App, customers, employees, property, and the public.
  • If, in the future, we sell or transfer, or we consider selling or transferring, some or all of our business, shares or assets to a third party, we will disclose your information to such third party (whether actual or potential) in connection with the foregoing events (including, without limitation, our current or potential investors). In the event that we are acquired by, or merged with, a third party entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer, disclose or assign your information in connection with the foregoing events.
  • Where we transfer your Personal Information outside of EU/EEA (for example to third parties who provide us with services), we will generally obtain contractual commitments from them to protect your Personal Information. When we transfer personal information, we rely on Adequacy Decisions adopted by the European Commission based on Article 45 of the GDPR (for example, when we access Personal Information from Israel), Standard Contractual Clauses laid down by the European Commission, or any other approved transfer mechanism. We continually monitor the circumstances surrounding such transfers to ensure that these maintain, in practice, a level of protection that is essentially equivalent to the level of protection guaranteed by the GDPR.

4. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

  • The following rights (which may be subject to certain exemptions or derogations) shall apply to certain individuals (some of which only apply to individuals protected by specific privacy laws):
    • You have a right to access Personal Information held about you. Your right of access may normally be exercised free of charge, however we reserve the right to charge an appropriate administrative fee where permitted by applicable law;
    • You have the right to request that we rectify any Personal Information we hold that is inaccurate or misleading;
    • You have the right to request the erasure/deletion of your Personal Information (e.g. from our records). Please note that there may be circumstances in which we are required to retain your Personal Information, for example for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
    • You have the right to object, to or to request restriction, of the processing;
    • You have the right to data portability. This means that you may have the right to receive your Personal Information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and that you have the right to transmit that data to another controller; and
    • You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that there may be circumstances in which we are entitled to continue processing your data, in particular if the processing is required to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Also, please note that the withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Rights: You can exercise your rights by contacting us at lee@relyon.ai. Your rights may include: access to Personal Information held about you; request that we rectify any Personal Information we hold that is inaccurate or misleading. Subject to legal and other permissible considerations, we will use reasonable efforts to honor your request in accordance with applicable law or inform you if we need further information in order to fulfil your request. When processing your request, we may ask you for additional information to confirm or verify your identity and for security purposes, before processing and/or honoring your request. We reserve the right to charge a fee where permitted by law, for instance if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. In the event that your request would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others (for example, would impact the duty of confidentiality we owe to others) or if we are legally entitled to deal with your request in a different way than requested, we will address your request to the maximum extent possible, all in accordance with applicable law.  
  • Deleting your account: Should you ever decide to delete your account, you may do so by pressing the ‘delete my account button’ in the App. In addition, if you stop receiving services from our Customers, and Customer makes us aware of this information, we will automatically delete your account. If your account is terminated, then any association between your account and Personal Information we store will no longer be accessible through your account.
  • Marketing emails – opt-out: You may choose not to receive marketing email of this type by sending a single email with the subject "BLOCK" to lee@relyon.ai. Please note that the email must come from the email account you wish to block OR if you receive an unwanted email from us, you can use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving future emails, and we will process your request within a reasonable time after receipt.
  • USE BY CHILDREN. The Services are not directed at, and we do not knowingly acquire or receive Personal Information from, children under the age of 13. When registration is required for any services on our App, the child’s parent or guardian must complete such registration on behalf of the child and consent to use of the Services and the App by such child. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on the App, Website and Services. If we learn that we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete that individual’s Personal Information and restrict that individual from future access to the Services and App. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at lee@relyon.ai. 

5. INTERACTION WITH THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS.

The following rights (which may be subject to certain exemptions or derogations) shall apply to certain individuals (some of which only apply to individuals protected by specific privacy laws):We may enable you to interact with third party websites, mobile software applications and products or services that are not owned, or controlled, by us (each, a “Third Party Service”). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Third Party Services. Please be aware that Third Party Services can collect information from you. Accordingly, we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of each Third Party Service.

6. ANALYTIC TOOLS

  • Google Analytics. The App may use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of the App. Google Analytics collects information such as how often Users visit this App, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to coming to this App. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the App and our products. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with information we collect. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this App is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service, available at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/us/, and the Google Privacy Policy, available at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. You may learn more about how Google collects and processes information specifically in connection with Google Analytics at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You may prevent your information from being used by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.
  • LogRocket. The App may use a tool called “Log Rocket” to collect information about your use of the App. You may learn more about how Log Rocket collects and processes information at https://logrocket.com/privacy/
  • We reserve the right to remove or add new analytic tools, cookies, pixels and other tracking technologies.

7. Specific provisions applicable under California privacy law.

  • Our California Do Not Track Notice. Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. Please note that we do not respond to or honor DNT signals or similar mechanisms transmitted by web browsers, and we may allow third parties, such as companies that provide us our partners, to collect personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across different web sites when a consumer uses the Website.
